BEIJING, September 25. /Dunyo IA/.  Premiere of the documentary film “Youth of the Silk Road: Uzbekistan”, dedicated to cultural rapprochement and the development of friendship between the peoples of Uzbekistan and China, took place in Beijing, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Film was produced with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China in cooperation with the “Dolphin Books” publishing house of the China International Communications Group (CICG).

Event was attended by representatives of the CICG, China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC), National Media Association of Uzbekistan, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China and media outlets.

During the speeches, it was noted that Uzbekistan and China are important partners on the historical Silk Road, and that youth play a key role in the further development of Uzbek-Chinese friendship.

Special attention was paid to the role of the media in strengthening bilateral relations and shaping the mutual perception of the two peoples. The premiere of the film was hailed as another testament to the friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China.

Documentary highlights the relations between the two countries through the stories of young people, showcasing their daily lives, collaborative work and aspirations to achieve their goals.

“Youth of the Silk Road: Uzbekistan” consists of two parts. The first part, “The Path to Light” is dedicated to new projects of the China Energy Engineering Corporation in Uzbekistan, as well as the activities of young Chinese engineers and Uzbek employees of the CEEC.

Second part, “Where Dreams Return”, tells the stories of Uzbek students studying and launching entrepreneurial ventures in China, along with their drive to realize their plans and dreams.

Film also demonstrates examples of cultural exchange, as well as trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two nations.

Following the official premiere, it was announced that the documentary film will be broadcast on television channels and featured across social media platforms in both Uzbekistan and China.
