TASHKENT, December 10. /Dunyo IA/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov today met with visiting Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia Gordan Grlić-Radman, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

"Pleased to host the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia H.E. Gordan Grlić-Radman today at the MFA, — the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram channel. — The agenda of our meeting was quite extensive and covered all the areas of partnership. Underscored the need to catch up in boosting our bilateral ties and keep the dynamic exchanges. We set new targets, discussed the plans for the next year, and agreed to support close engagements between business circles of our two nations".
It is worth noting that the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia met in late September in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. The ministers reaffirmed readiness to establish a closer political dialog, intensify trade and investment cooperation, developе cultural ties and people-to-people diplomacy.
First Ambassador of Uzbekistan Oybek Shakhavdinov presented his credentials to Croatian President Zoran Milanović in November.
