Meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on further developing the cooperation of Uzbekistan with international regional organizations

• 326ТАSHKENT, October 2. /Dunyo IA/. On September 30th, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Mirvokhid Azimov held a meeting focused on further developing the country’s cooperation within international regional organizations, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, meeting was attended by representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, research and higher education institutions. Participants exchanged views on the priority areas and prospects for multilateral cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to cooperation in the political and diplomatic, trade and economic, transport and logistics, investment, science and education, and cultural and humanitarian fields. Importance of making effective use of existing opportunities, engaging scientific and expert expertise more extensively and advancing concrete, practical initiatives was emphasized.
