Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan met with Parliamentary Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan in Tokyo

TASHKENT, May 31. /Dunyo IA/. During his visit to Tokyo, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullaev met on May 28 with Parliamentary Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Hisashi Matsumoto, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the MFA, during the meeting, special attention was paid to visa liberalization, humanitarian and business exchanges, revision of security recommendations, as well as expansion of cooperation in the spheres of labour migration and tourism.
Noting the positive dynamics of Uzbek-Japanese relations, Hisashi Matsumoto underscored Japan’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Uzbekistan as a key partner in Central Asia and expressed hope for its further deepening.
The sides reaffirmed mutual readiness to maintain close contacts between the foreign ministries in all areas of interaction.
