LJUBLJANA, November 3. /Dunyo IA/.   Advisor on International Relations to the President of Slovenia, Professor at the University of Ljubljana Zlatko Šabič, in an interview with Dunyo IA, commented on the outcomes of the visit of U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Uzbekistan on October 18-20^th.

Assessing the scale of the visit, Professor Zlatko Šabič characterized it as an event of “impressive scope,” particularly highlighting the participation of around 100 American companies in business events in Samarkand. He emphasized that such a scale is difficult to imagine even in relation to a small country like Slovenia.

Furthermore, Zlatko Šabič noted that he still remembers and continues to tell his colleagues how thoroughly Uzbekistan prepared for the visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Slovenia on May 21-22^nd, 2025. According to him, despite the small size of Slovenia, Uzbek side paid significant attention to the preparation of the visit. Professor emphasized that he considers his participation in this process a privilege, which left him with exceptionally positive impressions.
