Abdul Akbar: Development of the Uzbek language and the enhancement of its international authority are of great importance for future generations

ISLAMABAD, October 19. /Dunyo IA/. Abdul Akbar, Deputy Head of the Press Wing of the Office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, extended his congratulations to the people of Uzbekistan on October 21st, Uzbek Language Day, in an interview with Dunyo IA:

- On the occasion of Uzbek Language Day, celebrated on October 21st, I extend my warmest wishes to the brotherly people of Uzbekistan.

Peoples of Pakistan and Uzbekistan are bound by strong fraternal ties rooted in a shared faith, a rich historical heritage, common spiritual values and cultural and civilizational links forged over centuries.

With its deep historical roots, rich literary traditions and profound spiritual heritage, the Uzbek language is not only a source of national pride for the people of Uzbekistan, but also an invaluable treasure embodying their history, culture, spirituality and national identity. The development of the Uzbek language and the enhancement of its international standing are of great importance for preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Uzbek people and passing it on to future generations.

Peoples of Pakistan and Uzbekistan are united not only by a historical and spiritual commonality, but also by shared noble goals aimed at strengthening peace, stability, development and regional connectivity. Relations based on the principles of mutual respect, trust, and brotherhood serve as a solid foundation for friendship between the two countries.

I am confident that the centuries-old historical ties and long-standing fruitful cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan will continue to develop consistently, opening up new opportunities in such priority areas as trade and economic relations, investments, transport and transit, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, education, tourism and public diplomacy. High-level meetings and mutual visits of the leaders of the two countries are a vivid expression of the firm political will to further strengthen the strategic partnership and deepen friendship and mutual understanding between our peoples.

May this momentous date serve to further enhance the prestige of the Uzbek language in the world, expand cultural exchanges between our peoples and bring our shared spiritual values even closer together. Most importantly, may this holiday contribute to the further strengthening of the bonds of friendship and brotherhood between Pakistan and Uzbekistan, inspiring us all to new achievements on the path of jointly building a bright future based on mutual trust, solidarity, large-scale cooperation and shared prosperity.

I wish the people of Uzbekistan peace, well-being and prosperity, and the Uzbek language eternal life and continued flourishing.
