Abu Dhabi hosts discussions on progress in the implementation of Uzbekistan’s Multimodal Logistics Centre Project

ABU DHABI, June 26. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan have met with Essa Kazim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “DP World”- one of the world's leading corporations in logistics and supply chain management, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the current state of cooperation between Uzbekistan and “DP World”, as well as prospects for its further expansion. Particular attention was dedicated to the ongoing project implemented by the company to establish a multimodal logistics center in Uzbekistan. The current status of the project, the phases of its implementation, and future plans for its development were thoroughly reviewed.

The parties emphasized the strategic significance of this project for modernizing the country's transport and logistics infrastructure, increasing Uzbekistan's integration into international transport corridors, and strengthening its position as a regional logistics hub. It was noted that the implementation of the project will facilitate foreign trade operations, enhance the efficiency of cargo handling and transportation and accelerate export-import processes.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to ensure the timely and high-quality execution of the project, as well as to continue deepening mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of transport and logistics.
