WARSAW, June 9. /Dunyo IA/. The Polish information portal “Golos Goroda” has published an article highlighting the growing interest of Polish citizens in traveling to Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The publication emphasizes that Uzbekistan is emerging as a new destination for independent Polish travellers, who are increasingly choosing the country instead of traditional Asian resorts. It also notes a rise in travel demand, the development of individual tourism, and the use of digital services for trip planning.
According to the portal, Polish tourists are increasingly visiting Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, while also showing interest in less-known regions of the country, including mountainous areas and desert landscapes. The relatively affordable travel costs and lower in-country expenses are cited as key factors driving this growing interest.
Particular attention is also given to the combination of tourism and business activity. The publication notes that some Polish visitors consider trips to Uzbekistan as an opportunity to explore market prospects and establish business contacts in sectors such as agribusiness, construction, education, and logistics.
The article concludes that interest in Uzbekistan from Poland continues to grow, with the country being increasingly perceived as a promising destination both for tourism and for economic cooperation.
