MINSK, October 14. /Dunyo IA/.  An online meeting was held between representatives of the vocational education management bodies of the Andijan Region and regions of Belarus, dedicated to establishing mutual cooperation in the field of vocational training, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The sides paid particular attention to the training of qualified personnel in construction, agriculture, light industry, and mechanical engineering, as well as the introduction of modern educational technologies, professional development of teachers and the organization of industrial placement for students within the framework of developing the dual education system.

During the negotiations, agreements were reached on establishing direct cooperation between the technical schools and colleges of the two countries, developing and implementing joint educational programs, exchanging experience and organizing internships.

Implementation of these initiatives will contribute to improving the quality of vocational education in Uzbekistan and Belarus, training specialists who meet labor market requirements and further strengthening interregional ties.
