MINSK, June 9. /Dunyo IA/.  A meeting was held in Minsk with the leaders and activists of the Council of Uzbek Youth operating in Belarus, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the discussion, the parties addressed issues related to supporting compatriots abroad, protecting their rights and interests, as well as current matters concerning education, employment and social adaptation.

The participants emphasized the importance of establishing effective cooperation with Uzbek citizens studying and working in Belarus, supporting youth initiatives and encouraging their contribution to the development of Uzbekistan.

The participants of the meeting received answers to their questions and also put forward a number of proposals and initiatives aimed at further developing the youth movement and strengthening ties with compatriots.
