Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulates newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan in telephone call

 

ТASHKENT, September 29. /Dunyo IA/. Today, Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan held a telephone conversation with Yermek Kosherbayev, newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

"Had a phone conversation with the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan H.E. Yermek Kosherbayev, - wrote Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on his official telegram-channel. - Сongratulated my colleague on his appointment and wished him every success in his very important mission. We also covered further expansion of strategic partnership and alliance ties, as well as our cooperation within regional and international institutions.

Underscored that both Foreign Ministries will continue working closely towards the implementations of all the agreements reached between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Leaders".

Yermek Kosherbayev, aged 60, served as Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan until September 26, 2025. After graduating from Kazakh State University, he began his career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan. Subsequently, he held various positions within government and economic institutions, including roles in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs apparatus and diplomatic missions abroad.
