TASHKENT, June 11. /Dunyo IA/. Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of Mining Industry of Algeria Murad Hanifi, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“During our meeting with H.E. Murad Hanifi, Minister of Mining of Algeria, we held detailed discussions on prospects for cooperation in the field of mineral resources, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Uzbekistan and Algeria possess significant potential in natural resources, geological exploration, and the development of the mining industry. In this regard, we view this sector as one of the new drivers of bilateral cooperation.

Exchanged views on conducting joint geological exploration activities, developing promising mineral deposits, establishing joint ventures, processing mineral resources with greater depth, and producing high value-added products”.
