TASHKENT, September 10. /Dunyo IA/. By a decree of the President of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, has been appointed Manager of the Tashkent International Financial Centre (TIFC) on a concurrent basis with her current position, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“The Manager is considered the Secretary General of the Board of the Financial Centre, organizes the agenda, and, in the absence of the Chairperson, presides over its meetings, – Press Secretary to the President of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Asadov, wrote on his Telegram-channel. – A key area of the Manager’s activity will be coordinating the launch of the Financial Centre: preparing priority documents and establishing interaction between government bodies and the Centre’s structures.

Among the important responsibilities are also the representation of the Financial Centre in relations with international organizations, investors and partners in Uzbekistan and abroad, as well as participation in personnel decisions, including the appointment of the Executive Director of the Administration of the Financial Centre and his/her deputies, and making recommendations regarding the management of the Financial Services Authority.

The Manager is also authorized to conclude agreements, establish working groups and engage experts.”
