TASHKENT, September 19. /Dunyo IA/. Minister of Mining Industry and Geology of Uzbekistan Bobir Islamov held a meeting with a German delegation led by Klaus Mangold, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Mangold Consulting GmbH”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the meeting, parties reviewed issues regarding the development of mineral resources, industrial cooperation, potential joint projects, as well as the expansion of technological and investment collaboration.
Meeting featured a presentation on the production capabilities of the Uzbek Industrial Metals Combine, the primary areas of its activity and projects for the processing of strategic mineral resources.
Representatives of “Mercedes-Benz AG”, in turn, delivered a presentation dedicated to the Uzbek-German dialogue in the field of raw materials. The parties agreed to jointly study promising areas and continue cooperation in this sector.
It is reported that the significance of the meeting for Uzbekistan is linked to the opportunities for the deep processing of mineral resources within the country and the manufacturing of high-value-added products. The technological expertise and investment potential of German companies can contribute to expanding the production capacities of the domestic industry, creating skilled jobs and diversifying the export structure. For German business, in turn, such a partnership opens up opportunities to expand the sources of raw material supply and forge long-term production ties.
Meeting demonstrated the formation of new practical opportunities in the economic cooperation of the two countries, aimed at combining strategic raw materials, modern technologies, and investments. According to the meeting participants, joint projects for the deep processing of mineral resources and the production of high-value-added goods will contribute to the further strengthening of industrial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany.
