Pakistani Media: International Forum of Brother Cities in Samarkand to serve as a platform for developing international cooperation

ISLAMABAD, July 23. /Dunyo IA/. Articles dedicated to the International Forum of Brother Cities, which will be held on July 24–25th in Samarkand, have been published in leading Pakistani media outlets “Global News Pakistan” and “Pakistan In The World”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Publications note that the forum will become an important international platform for expanding Uzbekistan’s international cooperation, strengthening partnerships between cities and promoting public diplomacy.
According to the publications, forum’s program includes an international scientific and practical conference on the development of cooperation between cities of Uzbekistan and foreign countries, sectoral panel sessions and roundtable discussions, as well as ceremonies for signing memorandums and agreements between brother cities.
In addition, participants will be presented with presentations dedicated to the development of public diplomacy and interregional cooperation, cultural and educational events with the participation of foreign delegations, familiarization tours to the historical and cultural landmarks of Samarkand, as well as exhibitions demonstrating the investment, tourism, and cultural potential of Uzbekistan’s regions will be held.
“Global News Pakistan” emphasizes that the upcoming forum will serve as an important platform for strengthening partnerships, exchanging best practices, and developing long-term cooperation between cities of different countries. In turn, “Pakistan In The World”, referring to the organizers of the event, also notes that the forum will contribute to fostering long-term interaction between cities of various countries and expanding international partnerships.
