President of Uzbekistan reviews military equipment production capacities

ТASHKENT, January 14. /Dunyo IA/. President of Uzbekistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited a technopark in the city of Chirchiq, where he reviewed the activities of defence industry enterprises, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the press service of the Head of our State, the technopark has established production of armoured and special-purpose vehicles, as well as several types of remotely operated combat modules with advanced functionality and technical specifications.
These solutions enable engagement of moving and stationary targets, including under limited visibility, and are equipped with automated control and stabilization systems, optical and acoustic surveillance, and modern targeting systems.
The Head of our State was presented with information on the production cycle, which includes the assembly of key components, installation of optoelectronic and stabilization systems, software configuration and sealing-integrity control, weapons integration, and comprehensive testing. The final stage involves installing the finished modules on light armoured vehicle samples and testing them in field conditions.
The combat modules are designed for integration with various platforms, including light armoured vehicles, special-purpose vehicles, boats, and armoured personnel carriers.
The project is being implemented in cooperation with domestic and international partners, with participation from relevant government agencies and the country’s industrial enterprises.
All of this contributes to increasing the output of high-technology products, creating jobs, and forming a domestic industrial and technological base within the national defence industry.
The Head of State emphasized the importance of strict compliance with quality and reliability requirements, the continued expansion of localization, the development of engineering competencies, and the deepening of industrial cooperation, and issued relevant instructions to the responsible bodies.
