CHANGSHA, September 19. /Dunyo IA/.  A trade, economic and cooperation dialogue event titled “International Sister Cities and Partner Regions of Hunan Province – 2026” took place in the administrative center of China's Hunan Province, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event, organized with the support of the People’s Government of Hunan Province, was attended by representatives of government agencies, trade and industrial associations and corporations from 28 countries, as well as members of the diplomatic corps.

Jakhongir Mamajonov, Deputy Khokim of the Tashkent Region, delivered a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony. The focus of the discussions was on the further expansion of trade, economic, investment and interregional cooperation between the regions of Uzbekistan and China, alongside the implementation of new joint projects with leading Chinese companies.

Event featured sector-specific meetings, presentations, and B2B negotiations aimed at establishing direct contacts between regional and business representatives, expanding investment cooperation, and developing new joint projects.

Primary objective of the event was to strengthen trade and investment ties between Hunan Province and foreign regions, create an effective platform for direct dialogue between business representatives and identify new avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation.

Following the meetings, agreements were reached on the further development of interregional contacts and the expansion of practical cooperation between the representatives of Uzbekistan and China.
