NAGOYA, October 12. /Dunyo IA/. Shogo Aoki, President of “Noritsuisu Co., Ltd.” and Chief Executive Officer of “Aces Japan LLC”, shared his impressions with Dunyo IA following the successful performance of Uzbekistan’s sporting delegation at the 20th Asian Summer Games in Japan.
According to Aoki, hosting the Asian Games in Nagoya fulfilled an idea he had put forward in 2014, when he was serving as president of JCI Nagoya. At the time, he presented the Governor of Aichi Prefecture with a proposal to organise an international sporting event in the region, suggesting the Asian Games as one possible option. The initiative aimed to enhance the region’s international standing and bring people together through sport.
Aoki noted that the sister-city relationship between Nagoya and Tashkent had given Uzbekistan’s athletes’ achievements at the competition particular significance. He congratulated Uzbekistan on winning 70 medals and securing fifth place in the overall medal standings. He also highlighted the men’s football semi-final between Japan and Uzbekistan, saying the match had helped raise public interest in Uzbekistan among the Japanese public.
Speaking about business cooperation, Shogo Aoki noted that “Noritsuisu Co., Ltd.” operates in Uzbekistan’s office furniture manufacturing sector through its local subsidiary, “Aces Japan LLC”. He said that cooperation with Uzbek partners, alongside the hosting of the Asian Games, was helping strengthen mutual understanding between the peoples of the two countries. He expressed hope that the positive momentum generated by the sporting event would help expand business, educational and humanitarian exchanges.
Aoki also highlighted the development of ties between young entrepreneurs. With the support of JCI Nagoya, JCI Uzbekistan - the Junior Chamber International organisation in Uzbekistan - was established in Tashkent, opening up new opportunities to build connections with the international business community. The organisation is expected to formally join the global JCI network during the World Congress scheduled to take place in Nagoya in November 2027.
In conclusion, Aoki expressed confidence that the friendly ties strengthened through the Asian Games would continue to grow through exchanges among young entrepreneurs and business leaders, further deepening cooperation between Nagoya and Tashkent, as well as between Japan and Uzbekistan.
