Uzbekistan and Austria signed a series of bilateral documents.

ТАSHKENT, May 7. /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting today with the Minister for European and International Affairs of Austria Beate Meinl-Reisinger and the Federal Minister of the Interior of Austria Gerhard Karner who are currently on an official visit to Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Following the talks with Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria H.E. Beate Meinl-Reisinger and Federal Minister of the Interior H.E. Gerhard Karner, we signed a number of bilateral documents, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - In particular, we adopted the Protocol and the Additional Protocol amending the Convention on the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income and Property, the Agreement on Partnership in the Field of Migration and Mobility, as well as the Agreement on the Exemption of Holders of Diplomatic Passports from Visa Requirements.

We are confident that these agreements will contribute to further expanding practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Austria, strengthening mutual trust, and advancing new joint initiatives”.
