KUALA LUMPUR, November 26. /Dunyo IA/. Teachers from general education schools in Jizzakh and Tashkent, Uzbekistan, participated in international professional development courses in Malaysia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The training courses represent a practical implementation of agreements reached during the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Malaysia in February of this year. The programme was organized with the support of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the administrations of Jizzakh Region and the City of Tashkent, and in collaboration with leading educational institutions in Malaysia.

The sessions were held at the Learning Centre of the University of Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and the Training Centre of the Human Resource Development Corporation (TGCC PLT). Lectures were delivered by highly qualified professional trainers, who provide instruction based on British educational standards, ensuring that participants receive exposure to international best practices in pedagogy.

Over the course of two weeks, Uzbek educators acquired new knowledge and skills in modern pedagogical technologies, innovative teaching methodologies, and the effective organization of the educational process in the context of rapid developments in artificial intelligence. Participants also explored the integration of technological advancements and social media into classroom practice, as well as strategies for fostering healthy teacher-student relationships, reflecting Uzbekistan’s commitment to educational modernization and international best practices.

Upon completion of the training courses, Uzbek educators were awarded international professional qualification certificates in a ceremony attended by diplomats from the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Malaysia.

Speaking at the ceremony, H.E. Karomiddin Gadoev, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Malaysia, briefed participants on the favorable conditions established for preschool and school educators in Uzbekistan, as well as the support measures provided by regional authorities for the education sector. He also emphasized the country’s efforts to expand international collaboration to enhance the effectiveness of teaching methodologies and the implementation of comprehensive initiatives aimed at ensuring high-quality education.

Both sides agreed to further strengthen cooperation in the exchange of best practices and innovative teaching methodologies between Malaysian institutions and Uzbek educators, reinforcing the commitment to enhancing educational standards through international collaboration.
