PRAGUE, September 15. /Dunyo IA/.   A football tournament among compatriots was held in Prague, dedicated to the 35^th Anniversary of the State Independence of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event was organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the “Turkestan” Cultural Center.

Citizens of Uzbekistan residing in the Czech Republic took an active part in the competition. The tournament aimed to strengthen communication and team spirit among compatriots, popularize sports among the youth and organize meaningful leisure activities.

In support of the tournament, “Vatandoshlar” Public Fund provided various memorable gifts, which were presented to the participants and winners of the competition.

Participants highly appreciated the initiative and proposed to continue holding such events, including regular sporting, cultural and educational meetings.
