ТАSHKENT, November 3. /Dunyo IA/. On November 1^st, the 1^st round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Bahrain was held in Manama, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, delegations were headed by First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev and Deputy Foreign Minister of Bahrain Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.

Talks focused on strengthening political dialogue between the two countries, developing trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian ties and expanding cooperation within international organizations.

The sides also exchanged views in detail on pressing international and regional issues.
