Uzbekistan and Russia to Hold Reciprocal Cultural Days Marking 35 Years of Diplomatic Relations

TASHKENT, September 1. /Dunyo IA/. The National Centre “Russia” and the Centre for Islamic Civilization in Tashkent have agreed to hold reciprocal Days of Uzbekistan and Russia to mark the 35^th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the National Centre “Russia”, the events are scheduled for March 2027. The plans were announced during the international media forum “Islamic Civilization: A New Perspective – New Discoveries” in Tashkent.

The programme will include cultural, educational and business events. Uzbekistan is expected to host the musical and choreographic production “Khorovod”, featuring Russian and Uzbek artists, while Moscow will host an evening dedicated to Uzbek culture.

The programme will also feature joint lectures and discussions involving Russian and Uzbek historians, art historians and cultural experts. The events are intended to promote humanitarian and business cooperation between the two countries.
