Nine Killed in Private Jet Crash in the United States

PALM BEACH, November 2. /Dunyo IA/. A “Learjet 60” private jet crashed on a residential street in Florida, killing all nine people on board, reports Dunyo IA correspondent citing CNN.

The crash occurred on November 1 at around 12:50 p.m. local time (10:50 p.m. in Tashkent) in the Cresthaven area of Palm Beach County, approximately 14 km from Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.

Images released after the incident show a crater in the middle of the road, fires and debris scattered across the area.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the aircraft had departed from Austin, Texas, and was heading to the Bahamas.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, commenting on footage of the crash, compared the falling aircraft to a missile. He said the jet plunged almost vertically into the ground, triggering a massive explosion.

According to preliminary reports from local authorities, no casualties or injuries were reported on the ground.

Thunderstorms and heavy rain were reported in the area at the time of the crash.

Donald Trump had left a nearby airport aboard Air Force One approximately an hour before the incident.
