Tashkent hosts Fourth “China–Central Asia” Human Rights Development Forum

• 64TASHKENT, May 14. /Dunyo IA/. The Fourth Human Rights Development Forum in the “China–Central Asia” format commenced today in Tashkent, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The forum is jointly organized by the China Foundation for Human Rights Development (CFHRD) and the National Center of Uzbekistan for Human Rights.
The event will focus on key priority areas of cooperation between China and the Central Asian countries in the field of human rights. In the context of implementing the right to development, participants will discuss prospects for cooperation in such areas as poverty reduction and improving public welfare, environmental protection, green development and human rights protection, as well as the promotion of digital intelligent technologies contributing to human rights development.
Representatives of expert, academic, governmental, and business circles specializing in human rights from China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan are expected to participate in the discussions.
The Fourth Forum is dedicated to the theme: “Jointly Promoting Human Rights Progress through High-Quality Development”.
The first forum was held on September 12, 2023, in Beijing, the second took place in June 2024 in Astana, Kazakhstan, and the third forum was organized in July 2025 in Xi’an, China.
