Uzbekistan Launches Fully Digital Payroll System for Businesses

LONDON, June 20. /Dunyo IA/. “TBC Uzbekistan” has introduced a fully digital payroll calculation system for small and medium-sized enterprises, reports Dunyo IA correspondent, citing the British publication “The Fintech Times”.

The new solution is integrated into the TBC Business platform – the first fully digital ecosystem of financial services for corporate clients in Uzbekistan.

Since its launch in December 2024, the platform has attracted more than 30,000 enterprises across the country. The new service allows companies to process salary payments around the clock, without being tied to traditional banking hours.

Thanks to the automated system, employers can initiate salary payments at any time of day, while employees receive wages on “TBC Salom” debit cards almost instantly, without delays typical of conventional banking processes.

The payroll functionality has become part of the broader “TBC Business” package, which also includes lending programs for small and medium-sized businesses, a mobile application for corporate financial management, and solutions for business process automation. Additional capabilities of the ecosystem were expanded following the acquisition of BILLZ, a retail management software platform.

TBC Group Uzbekistan CEO Nika Kurdiani stated that the new service is aimed at simplifying financial operations for entrepreneurs and automating routine processes without additional costs.

The system also provides employees of companies with access to digital banking services. The “TBC Salom” debit card can be issued fully online through the “TBC UZ” mobile application. Users can earn interest on account balances, use cashback programs, and make fee-free peer-to-peer transfers.

According to the company, the TBC Uzbekistan ecosystem now has around 6 million monthly active users. Its development is supported by proprietary AI infrastructure, including a virtual assistant named Lola.

The company believes that the launch of the new service marks another step in the development of digital banking and the expansion of financial services for entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan.
