Uzbek students showcase national culture in Krasnoyarsk

KRASNOYARSK, December 23. /Dunyo IA/. With the support of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan and active participation of Uzbek students studying at various higher education institutions in Krasnoyarsk, the youth interethnic festival “Kras Unity” was held, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the event, students presented thematic and theatrical performances highlighting the culture, art, traditions, and customs of the Uzbek people, as well as the country’s modern development.
The performances drew significant interest from festival guests, who noted the distinctiveness, richness, and uniqueness of Uzbek culture.
Additionally, the forum featured a “Gastro Bazaar”, showcasing traditional Uzbek sweets, which attracted lively attention and genuine interest from all visitors.
Currently, over 70 Uzbek students are enrolled in higher education institutions in Krasnoyarsk.
During a meeting of the Consul General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk with compatriots living in the Krasnoyarsk region, discussions were held on further developing cultural cooperation and plans for future cultural and educational events in the region involving Uzbek youth.
