Uzbek-Japanese relations receive extensive coverage in Pakistani Media

Pakistani media outlets, including “The World News”, “Islamabad Post”, “Daily Hotline”, as well as the official website of the “Diplomatic News Agency” (DNA), have published articles examining the current state and future prospects of Uzbek-Japanese bilateral relations, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The publications provide a detailed analysis of the political dialogue, trade, economic and investment cooperation, inter-parliamentary relations and collaboration within international organizations as well as humanitarian and educational exchanges.
Special attention is given to the upcoming “Central Asia + Japan” Summit, which is highlighted as a key platform for further strengthening both bilateral and multilateral partnerships between Uzbekistan and Japan.
Pakistani media have emphasized the strategic nature of the Uzbek-Japanese partnership, highlighting the 2019 visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Japan, enhanced dialogue between the foreign ministries of both countries and the convening of the first Strategic Dialogue at the level of foreign ministers in August 2025 in Tashkent.
