ТАSHKENT, June 9. /Dunyo IA/.  Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullaev met with Andrey Ivanets, Minister of Education of Belarus, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, during the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of Uzbekistan-Belarus cooperation in the field of education and prospects for its further development.

The sides emphasized the importance of further enhancing cooperation in training competitive specialists in line with the needs of the labour market, studying advanced educational practices and strengthening human resource capacity.

The parties also exchanged views on the conditions created for citizens of Uzbekistan studying at educational institutions of Belarus and on issues related to their comprehensive support.
