TASHKENT, August 23. /Dunyo IA/. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev together with their spouses took part in a joint concert of artists of the two countries, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our state, the Uzbek and Azerbaijani peoples are connected by common historical roots, one religion, similar culture and traditions.

Thanks to the will and efforts of the heads of state, our peoples have become even closer, and interstate relations have reached the level of an alliance.

Both Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan respect and love the work of cultural figures. By decisions of the Presidents, legendary singers Farrukh Zakirov and Polad Bülbüloğlu were awarded the honorary title of People’s Artists.

The joint concert became another embodiment of this centuries-old friendship, the close interweaving of traditions and values ​​of the Uzbek and Azerbaijani peoples.

The songs and music performed by talented artists embodied the wealth, diversity, community, and originality of our cultures.
