HYDERABAD, September 13. /Dunyo IA/. "Centrum Air" will launch regular flights on the Tashkent–Hyderabad–Tashkent route from September 28th this year, operating twice a week, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

New route was presented in the Indian city of Hyderabad with the participation of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, representatives of the airline, and more than 120 representatives of the tourism and business communities of the two countries.

Event highlighted the dynamic development of Uzbek-Indian relations and their elevation to the level of comprehensive strategic partnership.

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Sardor Rustambaev noted that the launch of the Tashkent–Hyderabad route is a direct implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of the Prime Minister of India to Tashkent on August 29–30th.

It was noted that the flights will operate twice a week on Airbus A320neo aircraft. Hyderabad will become Second destination of "Centrum Air" in India after Delhi.

Presentation also highlighted Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, hotel infrastructure and recreational destinations. It was noted that the number of tourists from India has increased several times over the past five to six years.

Event was followed by B2B meetings between tourism companies from the two countries, during which Indian representatives expressed interest in expanding cooperation with their Uzbek counterparts and reached relevant agreements.
