GENEVA, December 16. /Dunyo IA/. Today, a presentation of the book “New Uzbekistan: the Path of Shavkat Mirziyoyev” was held at the Palace of Nations in Geneva, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event was attended by the Director of the National Center of Uzbekistan for Human Rights, Akmal Saidov, the Permanent Representative of Uzbekistan to the UN Office in Geneva, Eldiyor Toshmatov, the President of the Diplomatic Circle of Geneva, Robert F. Blum, and the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Diva International, Marit Fosse, as well as more than 50 representatives of the heads of diplomatic missions, international organizations, expert circles, and the media.

The participants exchanged views on the ongoing reforms in New Uzbekistan, changes in public administration, human rights implementation, and developments in the economy, education, gender equality, and foreign policy.

The book, authored by renowned political scientist, senator, and Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, Kudratilla Rafikov, reflects the key stages in the formation of New Uzbekistan and the systemic transformations initiated by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The publication offers an analytical perspective on reforms in public administration, economy, social policy, gender equality, and human rights protection, as well as Uzbekistan’s positioning in world politics.

During the event, participants discussed the main ideas of the book and exchanged views on the dynamics of transformations occurring in the country. Special attention was given to strengthening the rule of law, improving human rights protection mechanisms, modernizing economic institutions, expanding opportunities for women and youth, and enhancing Uzbekistan's role in regional and global diplomacy.

The speakers noted that the book represents a valuable study that allows for a deeper understanding of the logic behind the latest reforms and the strategic direction of state development. According to the participants, the presented work is an important resource for the international community seeking to better understand the transformation processes taking place in Uzbekistan.

The book “New Uzbekistan: the Path of Shavkat Mirziyoyev” was highly appreciated by diplomats and experts as an objective and comprehensive work reflecting the political will, social demands, and modernization dynamics of the state.
