Ambassador of the Republic of Korea: We stand ready to help Uzbekistan achieve its reform agenda

TASHKENT, January 25. /“Dunyo” IA/ In an interview with “Dunyo” IA Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Kang Jae Kwon shared his opinion on the Address of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.

“I was impressed by the emphasis on a true reform agenda articulated in the Address of the President of Uzbekistan which covered a range of issues. To add up to this, the President amplified his speech with factual analysis.

I would also like to highlight President Mirziyoyev’s enthusiasm for creating corruption free business environment. I believe it is a good message for global investors, including Korean to come and do business in Uzbekistan.

Additionally, I believe education is the field where we can reinforce our bilateral cooperation. We understand the urgency of reforming the sector, but it takes time. In this regard, efforts on a national level are required. This is something the Republic of Korea has already undertaken and we will expedite the Uzbek government,” stated Ambassador.
