Ambassador of Uzbekistan discussed issues of expanding bilateral cooperation with members of the Malaysian Parliament

KUALA-LUMPUR, October 27. /Dunyo IA. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ravshan Usmanov has held a meeting with Member of the Malaysian Parliament, Chairman of the Malaysian Group in the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Loke Siew Fook, reports IA “Dunyo” correspondent.

The meeting discussed the current state and prospects of expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the countries. 

Loke Siew Fook highly appreciated the intensification of Uzbekistan – Malaysia inter-parliamentary relations over the past year.

The sides confirmed their mutual interest in further enhancing cooperation and mutual support for initiatives within the framework of international organizations, including, UN, IPU and others.

Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to continue political-diplomatic contacts to further enhance the agenda of Uzbekistan – Malaysia cooperation.
