Bust of Alisher Navoi unveiled in Seoul

SEOUL, December 17. /“Dunyo” IA/. On the eve of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Korea, a bust of the great Uzbek poet and thinker Alisher Navoi was opened in the city of Seoul, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

The opening ceremony of the bust of Alisher Navoi in the capital of the Republic of Korea is dedicated to the 580th anniversary of our famous ancestor’s birth and the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to this country.

The ceremony was attended by the First Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Director of the National Center for Human Rights Akmal Saidov, Minister of Preschool Education Agrippina Shin, Deputy of the Lower House of Parliament Viktor Pak, as well as representatives of the public of the two countries.

The ceremony participants laid wreaths to the bust of the great poet.
