Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Ambassador of Vietnam discussed the practical aspects of cooperation development


TASHKENT, March 17. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Furkat Sidikov has held virtual talks with the Ambassador of Vietnam with residence in Moscow Ngo Duc Manh, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties discussed the state of cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other areas, as well as the prospects for their further development.

The main attention was paid to strengthening inter-parliamentary ties and cooperation within the framework of international organizations.

It was emphasized that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Vietnam has great potential for consistent expansion in almost all areas. In this context, specific proposals were considered to bring interaction between Uzbekistan and Vietnam to a qualitatively new level.

The parties also exchanged views on the organization of joint and international events with the participation of delegations of the two countries.

Following the meeting, agreements were reached on continuing the dialogue on further building up cooperation, implementing joint investment, trade and economic projects, as well as developing exchanges in education and tourism.
