Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Director of OSCE/ODIHR discussed issues of cooperation

WARSAW, March 18. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Asadov met with the Director of OCSE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR) Matteo Mecacci, in Warsaw, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.


The parties exchanged views on cooperation between Uzbekistan and the OSCE/ODIHR.

It was noted that one of the key priorities of Uzbekistan's foreign policy is the further development of cooperation with the OSCE and its structures, including on human rights, strengthening and protecting democratic institutions, and improving electoral processes.

The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest at the meeting.
