Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan met with the Advisor to the President of Italy

TASHKENT, May 13. /“Dunyo” IA/. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov met with the Diplomatic Advisor to the President of Italy, Ambassador Emanuela D'Alessandro, in Rome, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties highly appreciated the positive dynamics of the political and diplomatic dialogue, the steady growth of trade turnover over the past 5 years by 149.5%, which reached $429.8 million in 2021.

The sides expressed readiness for the practical partnership to further promote mutually beneficial cooperation between the countries with a primary emphasis on building up economic, investment and technological cooperation.

The parties also agreed to bring cooperation in culture and education to a qualitatively new stage, stimulating the development of interuniversity and research contacts.
