Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan met with the Governor of the Ivanovo region of Russia

TASHKENT, June 4. /“Dunyo” IA/. On June 2, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov received a delegation from the Ivanovo region led by Governor Stanislav Voskresensky, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the MIFT Uzbekistan, the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association discussed with the guests the issues of interregional cooperation between the Ivanovo region and the regions of Uzbekistan in industry, trade and education. The parties considered the prospects for cooperation in the textile industry, the organization of the production of a wide range of competitive products. 

The participants of the meeting also discussed cooperation in higher education for specialists in the textile industry of Uzbekistan, the creation of competence centers in the country in the light industry.
