Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan organizes a business forum for Nagoya businesspeople

TOKYO, December 28. /“Dunyo” IA/. Japan’s Nagoya city hosted the business forum “Uzbekistan’s Investment and Export Potential”, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.


The forum was attended by the heads and representatives of Japanese organizations and companies, as well as the Uzeltechsanoat Association.

The investment and export opportunities of Uzbekistan, favorable conditions for doing business were presented at the event, organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan.

The main attention was paid to the development of agriculture, functioning clusters with a full cycle of finished goods production, and ample opportunities for export to Japan, especially dried fruits.

First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzeltechsanoat Association Mansur Khashimov invited the Japanese partners to consider the possibilities of implementing joint projects for the production of solar panels, wind installations, household appliances. Japanese companies were also invited to participate in an electrical exhibition to be held in Tashkent in the second half of 2022. Talking about the export potential of the industry, Japanese companies were offered copper products that are in great demand in light of the countries’ transition to green energy.

Following the events, agreements were reached to continue cooperation between the businesspeople of Uzbekistan and Nagoya, as well as to organize a visit of representatives of Japanese companies to Uzbekistan in 2022.
