Enhancing sports cooperation with Japan discussed


TOKIO, November 9. / “Dunyo” IA. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fazilov has met with the new head of Japan Sports Agency Koji Murofushi, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

The parties discussed issues of enhancing bilateral cooperation in sports and physical culture.

Koji Murofushi confirmed his readiness to comprehensively promote the further expansion of Uzbekistan – Japan cooperation in sports, including the practical implementation of the provisions of the bilateral Memorandum of Cooperation with Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue close contacts with Japan Sports Agency to work out all the discussed issues in sports cooperation with Uzbekistan.
