Issues of establishing cooperation with Uzbek scientific and academic circles and universities of Uzbekistan discussed in Pakistan

LAHORE, November 10. / “Dunyo” IA. University of the Punjab hosted a conference with participation of representatives of Uzbekistan and the Center for Global and Strategic Studies of Pakistan, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

During the visit of Uzbekistan Embassy representatives, talks were held with the Vice Chancellor of the University of the Punjab, Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar.

Niaz Ahmad Akhtar noted that the University of the Punjab is happy to establish cooperation with Uzbekistan universities, primarily with scientific-academic circles, and is ready to fully realize the existing potential to raise cooperation to a new qualitative level.

He emphasized that the University is ready to accept Uzbekistan students and teachers for bоth study and internship.

The Vice Chancellor noted that at this stage, University of the Punjab expresses its intention to establish cooperation with the National University of Uzbekistan, Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies and Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, as well as with research institutes of Uzbekistan in studying the historical heritage of great scientists and thinkers of the past.
