Japan hosts a roundtable discussion on constitutional reforms in Uzbekistan

TOKYO, July 13. /“Dunyo” IA/. During the visit of Uzbekistan delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Furkat Sidikov to Japan, a roundtable discussion was held with the participation of compatriots living in Tokyo on the ongoing constitutional reform in Uzbekistan, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.


Detailed information was provided on the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan, in particular the draft constitutional law “On introducing amendments and addenda to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, the essence and significance of the proposed amendments and additions to the Basic Law.

Compatriots were called upon to deeply study the content of the proposed amendments and additions to the Constitution of Uzbekistan, not to be indifferent to them and actively participate in the process of these reforms.

Uzbekistan citizens expressed their gratitude for the attention paid by the state to compatriots abroad and their readiness to make their contribution to the development of the country.

Information was also provided on the root causes of the events that occurred in Karakalpakstan.

Following the meeting, detailed answers were given to all questions of compatriots. It was noted that opinions and proposals on the draft constitutional law can be sent to the Meningkonstitutionsiyam.uz electronic platform.
