TASHKENT, July 15. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov has met with the Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Abdul Razak Dawood, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to Uzbekistan MIFT, the parties discussed the current agenda of Uzbekistan – Pakistan partnership, preparations for bilateral events within the framework of the upcoming high-level visit, as well as new promising areas for enhancing multifaceted interaction.
Mutual readiness to implement effective measures to deepen trade and economic, industrial, investment, transport and logistics, cultural, humanitarian and scientific-technological cooperation was emphasized. The main attention was paid to strengthening investment cooperation.
An agreement was reached on uniting the efforts of the ministries of transport of Uzbekistan and Pakistan to develop new proposals for deepening cooperation in the transport and logistics sector.
