MIFT hosts Intergovernmental Consultations on Financial and Technical Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany

TASHKENT, August 8. /“Dunyo” IA/. Uzbekistan and Germany's delegations led by representatives of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development held Intergovernmental Consultations on Financial and Technical Cooperation, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, the event was attended by representatives of relevant ministries and agencies of Uzbekistan, the Ambassador of Germany, representatives of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany, as well as German financial institutions.

The parties discussed ongoing and promising projects worth 350 million euros.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the preparation of a promising list of projects, taking into account priority areas for Uzbekistan, which will be considered during the talks between the governments of the two countries scheduled for the end of the year.
