TASHKENT, April 23. /“Dunyo” IA/. On April 21, virtual talks have been held between Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov and Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade (MIFT), the parties discussed the current state and opportunities for enhancing multifaceted cooperation, as well as progress and concrete results achieved in the implementation of projects within the framework of the program to improve the efficiency of public administration.
In this context, an agreement was reached to hold joint workshops, trainings and other events in all agreed areas. The parties will also continue to interact to develop proposals for enhancing the cooperation program.
The current issues of investment, trade and economic cooperation were discussed. In particular, it was announced that the proposals of the Ministry of Economy of the UAE are currently being worked out to enhance cooperation in industry and tourism, as well as to increase the export of fresh agricultural products from Uzbekistan to the UAE.
Following the talks, an agreement was reached to intensify interaction for the prompt resolution of current issues in all areas of cooperation.
