MoU was signed between the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan and Korea Customs Service for the exchange of experience and cooperation in the field of professional education


TASHKENT, September 15. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, a delegation from the Customs Service of the Republic of Korea, headed by its Commissioner Jae Hyeon Lim, has visited Uzbekistan, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan, during the talks held in the agency, the revision of the agreement signed 22 years ago to regulate cooperation between the two countries in the field of customs was discussed. It is planned to re-sign it in a new edition in accordance with the Free Trade Agreement between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea.

The parties also considered issues of interaction in the field of professional training, exchanged experience in customs control and examination, risk management, anti-smuggling and customs audit. The South Korean delegation was interested in the customs procedures used by Uzbekistan in international rail transportation.

Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan and Korea Customs Service for the exchange of experience and cooperation in the field of professional education.
