Prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Poland in creating a modern postal service discussed in Tashkent


TASHKENT, October 16. /Dunyo IA. Tashkent hosted a meeting between Director-General and Owner of the Polish express mail company Peter Koson, First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Laziz Kudratov, Director General of Uzbekiston Pochtasi JSC Alisher Fayzullayev, reports IA “Dunyo” correspondent.

According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland, Świat Przesyłek has been operating in the Polish and international markets since 2013 and is constantly expanding its portfolio with new logistics solutions - postal and courier Express services. The company operates in 42 countries around the world and has created an improved version of the logistics structure for distributing consolidated international shipments directly in the recipient's country, bypassing unnecessary reloading warehouses.

The parties discussed the issue of investing in the opening of a representative office in Uzbekistan.

The negotiations were also attended by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Poland Bakhrom Babayev.

Peter Koson expressed his readiness to invest in the opening of a network of express parcels in Uzbekistan and to allocate at least $5 million for this project.

Heads of Uzbekistan agencies supported the initiative of the Polish company to open a representative office in Uzbekistan.

The parties agreed to exchange relevant documentation and continue work on the introduction of advanced technologies of Świat Przesyłek into the postal service of Uzbekistan.
