TASHKENT, May 22. /“Dunyo” IA/. On May 25-28, 2023, Karakalpakstan’s Muynak will host the international extreme automobile competition “Rally Muynak”, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
It is expected that this year about 150 athletes will take part in the competitions, who will perform on 40 cars, over 20 motorcycles, and ten buggies.
For the first time, the traditional competition will last for four days. A rich program has been developed for racing drivers, tourists, and spectators. In the afternoon, extreme competitions on sports cars, buggies, motorcycles, and gastronomic master classes will be held. In the evening, concerts of electronic music performed by famous DJs will be organized.
The total length of the race track is 425 kilometers. The riders will have to overcome the off-road Ustyurt plateau and ride along the dried-up bottom of the Aral Sea. Motocross and autocross will be held on a particular track. Specially equipped sports cars with an engine capacity of 1600 and 2000 cubic centimeters, buggies with an engine capacity of 1600 cubic centimeters, and motorcycles with an engine capacity of 125 to 500 cubic centimeters can compete.
The closing and awarding ceremonies of the “Rally Muynak” winners will take place on May 28.
