Senate Chairperson receives the Ambassador of China

TASHKENT, February 6. /“Dunyo” IA/. Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China Jiang Yan in connection with the completion of her diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the upper house of the Parliament, at the meeting it was noted that the established deep mutual understanding and close relations between the leaders of the two countries determine the friendly and strategic nature of relations between Uzbekistan and China.

Mrs. Tanzila Narbayeva noted that the interaction between Uzbekistan and China has reached the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership based on the principles of mutual respect and consideration of each other’s interests.

Ambassador Jiang Yan expressed her gratitude to the leadership of Uzbekistan for the high confidence and the creation of a favorable atmosphere for the successful implementation of the diplomatic mission, noting that she would continue to fully support the consistent reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan.

The parties exchanged views regarding the strengthening and development of inter-parliamentary interaction.

Following the meeting, noting the important contribution of the Ambassador to the deepening and expansion of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China, confidence was expressed that constructive cooperation and close interaction between the two countries would continue in the future.
